Since 1990 the group has carved a niche in the competitive Tiruppur textile hub through an uncompromising focus on quality. Over the years the company expanded from a dyeing facility into a vertically integrated unit with knitting, finishing and, most recently, a garmenting division. Dyeing operations alone handle over twelve tonnes of knitted fabric a day, which makes dyeing the heart of the operation.

That focus is what led the group to Benninger's FabricMaster. The machine was first seen in 2023 and later at a trade show; by late 2024 a 500 kg capacity unit was ordered, and it was installed and commissioned in March 2025.

Performance that speaks for itself

Before the FabricMaster, the group relied on a locally made machine. The difference, in Vishnu's words, has been “night and day”. The new machine saves up to 30% of cycle time against the earlier setup — enough to process an additional batch every day, which translates into significant savings and improved productivity. Its design also gives more even dye penetration and better colour consistency.

The adjustable nozzle can be set to fabric weight, using lower liquor volumes for lightweight fabrics and higher flow for heavier ones. The internal fabric plaiter adapts its speed to different fabric types, and the automated add tank handles accurate chemical dosing and mixing. The result is not only uniform quality but smoother, more reliable operations.

Taking on challenging fabrics

The group has built its reputation on specialised constructions — velour, polar fleece and knitted terry — all of which are demanding to dye. According to Vishnu, the FabricMaster has handled them with ease: “It doesn't matter how complex the requirement is, the FabricMaster performs consistently.”

A fit for our sustainability goals

Sustainability has always been central here. The company operates as a Zero Liquid Discharge unit and runs entirely on solar power, and the machine aligns with that green vision: it consumes less water and electricity and delivers right-first-time results with minimal wastage — cutting cost and environmental footprint together.

Ease of use, and after-sales support

Despite its sophistication the machine is straightforward to run. “With basic training, even a semi-literate operator can handle it comfortably,” Vishnu notes. On service, he is equally direct: Benninger's engineers visit regularly, give a patient hearing and remain open to feedback, and there have been no major issues since installation.
