Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to personal data when you use www.luckyclothing.in. It is written to be read rather than to be impressive, and it describes what the site actually does.

Who we are

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form. That is your name, company, email address, phone number, country, enquiry type, indicative quantity and your message. We use it for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to run the resulting business relationship.

We do not run advertising trackers, analytics profiling or third-party marketing pixels on this site. There is no newsletter sign-up and no email capture behind the free tools.

The free tools collect nothing

The calculators and the tech pack checklist run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them is transmitted to us or to anyone else. The tech pack checklist saves your ticks in your own browser's local storage so they are still there when you come back; clearing your browser data removes them.

How the enquiry form is delivered

When you submit the form, its contents are sent to our email address. Depending on how the site is configured, delivery is handled either by our own web server or by a form-delivery service acting as our processor. In both cases the data goes to us and is not sold, rented or used for any purpose other than replying to you.

Third-party content embedded on this site

Two pages embed content from other companies, and those companies may set cookies:

• Google Maps on the contact page, so you can see where the factory is. Loading it involves Google, and Google's own privacy policy applies to that interaction.
• LinkedIn on the news page, to show a post about our appearance at the India Knit Fair. LinkedIn's privacy policy applies to that embed.

We do not control what those services do. If you would rather not load them, the same information is available as plain text on the same pages, and both embeds are marked loading="lazy" so they are not fetched until you scroll to them.

Hosting and server logs

Like every website, our host records standard access logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — for security and for keeping the site running. These are retained for a short period and are not used to build a profile of you.

How long we keep enquiries

Business enquiries are kept for as long as the commercial relationship or conversation is live, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Ask us to delete yours and we will.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, the EU or another jurisdiction with equivalent law, you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to our processing it. Email info@luckyclothing.in and we will deal with it. We do not charge for this and we do not require a specific form of words.

International transfer

We are based in India. If you contact us from elsewhere, your enquiry is necessarily transferred to and read in India. By sending it you are asking us to do exactly that.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top. The current version is always the one on this page.
