Zero liquid discharge water treatment plant serving the Lucky group

Certified & audited

GOTS certified garment manufacturer

Certified organic cotton, approved chemistry, audited workplaces and a plant that does not discharge effluent. Ask us for the paperwork — we would rather you checked.

An organic claim is only worth what the paperwork behind it can prove. GOTS is a chain-of-custody standard: certified cotton has to be traceable from the farm through spinning, knitting, dyeing and making-up, with each step certified and each shipment covered by a transaction certificate. A factory that says "we use organic cotton" without that chain is telling you about its intentions, not its supply.

We knit from GOTS-certified organic cotton and dye with GOTS-approved chemistry, and the reason we can hold the chain together is that most of it is ours. Knitting, dyeing and finishing all happen inside the group, so the number of external links that have to be certified — and audited, and reconciled — is small.

Alongside GOTS, we use OEKO-TEX approved dyes and auxiliaries under strict chemical management, and our workplaces are audited through leading social-compliance organisations. The environmental side is physical rather than paper: an offsite solar plant powers operations, and a zero-liquid-discharge system treats and reuses eighty million litres of process water a year.

01

What we can certify

  • GOTS organic cotton, knitted and dyed under GOTS-approved chemistry, with transaction certificates issued against your shipment.
  • OEKO-TEX Standard 100 approved dyes and auxiliaries across all production, organic or conventional.
  • Recycled polyester for fleece and outerwear programmes, traceable back to the yarn supplier.
  • Sedex-audited social compliance, with audit reports available to buyers on request.

02

The environmental side, in numbers

  • Eighty million litres of wastewater treated and reused internally every year through our zero-liquid-discharge system.
  • Operations powered by our own offsite solar plant, which cuts emissions and stabilises both cost and schedule.
  • Rainwater captured and stored for facility use, reducing draw on municipal supply.
  • Right-first-time dyeing — the single largest saving available in a dyehouse, because a re-dye costs the water, energy and time of a whole extra cycle.

03

What your compliance team will ask for

  • Scope certificate: confirms which processes and products our certification covers. Available on request.
  • Transaction certificate: issued per shipment, proving the goods you received are the certified goods. We arrange this at shipment.
  • Restricted substances declaration: we will sign against your RSL or MRSL, and tell you in advance if anything on it conflicts with a process.
  • Audit report: our most recent social-compliance audit, including corrective actions and what we did about them.

Questions

What buyers ask us first.

Can you send certificate copies before we place an order?

Yes. Email info@luckyclothing.in and tell us which standard your team needs to see. We will send current scope certificates and, where relevant, our most recent audit report.

Is everything you make organic?

No, and any factory that says everything is should be questioned. We produce both conventional and GOTS-certified organic programmes. What is constant across both is the approved dye and chemical inventory.

Do you offer recycled fabrics?

Yes — recycled polyester for fleece and outerwear, traceable to the yarn supplier. Recycled cotton blends are possible depending on the construction and the strength required.

What does zero liquid discharge mean in practice?

It means no process water leaves the site as effluent. Water is treated and returned to the process, and the residual solids are handled separately. In Tiruppur this is not optional — but the quality of the system decides whether processing keeps running.
